PROJECT TO FAVOR EQUALITY AND TOLERANCE IN CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE OF THE COMMUNITY OF MADRID 2011 to 2014

In collaboration with the "Directorate General of Immigration of the Community of Madrid"

  • The general objective of the project is to facilitate the integration of children and young people in the school context, in order to prevent future psycho-social imbalances such as failure and school dropout, racism, xenophobia, gender violence and school bullying, serving as support and in collaboration with teachers and educators.

  • The project is being developed in 136 secondary schools and institutes of the Community of Madrid.

SERVICE FOR THE PROMOTION OF THE PERSONAL AUTONOMY OF OLDER PEOPLE AND PEOPLE AT RISK OF SOCIAL EXCLUSION

Funded by the "Las Rozas Municipality"

The Service is aimed at elderly people or people at risk of social exclusion who, due to different personal circumstances, have relationship and social integration difficulties and consists of the following:

  • Accompaniment to doctors, senior center, shopping, tours and in all those things that are required for their integration into the life of the municipality.

  • Accompaniments at home to those who tend to isolate themselves due to old age, depression and various reasons.

  • Personal attention: help in cleaning the house, kitchen, toilet, control of taking medicines.

  • Accompaniment to doctors, small domestic arrangements.

 

 

CULTURE AND LEISURE

 

EVENT ORGANIZATION

Organization of all kinds of events aimed at obtaining resources for different projects of Integration, Health, Environment and Development Cooperation.

 

CULTURAL WORKSHOPS

  • Organization of different workshops for the promotion of culture and traditions among the different countries: Literature, Painting, Music, Crafts ...

  • Development of cultural and leisure activities in order to facilitate the exchange of experiences and knowledge of the environment.

  • Development of educational projects aimed at the defense of the environment among the young population.
